Colossal lion sculpture originally from Knidos, carved from one solid block of Pentelic marble on display in the British Museum's Great Court, London. It is believed to commemorate the great naval victory, the Battle of Cnidus, in which Conon defeated the Lacedaemonians in 394 BC.
